Description: In this Siddha Yoga Message Talk for 2002, Gurumayi encourages us to give ourselves the gift of abiding in silence wherever and whenever we can. "When you abide in silence," Gurumayi teaches, "you are abiding in the source of all creation, the source of true existence, the source of protection, the source of rejuvenation, and the source of blessing."

Throughout the talk, Gurumayi speaks about the importance of reducing noise in our lives and making more space for silence. We can look for ways to do this: through meditation, chanting, observing nature, listening to others with tranquility, or simply watching the breath. What is important for seekers is to respect and regularly practice silence.

Recorded on January 1, 2002 at Shree Muktananda Ashram, South Fallsburg, New York.
