Description: With a focus on Divine Love as the central, binding force of all creation, ONE THROUGH LOVE brings together a unique international group of international Rumi lovers and devotees - scholars, musicians, dervishes and other Sufi practitioners- from Turkey, Iran, the US and European countries. This film presents a series of compelling portraits and perspectives on Rumi and his spiritual mentor, Shams of Tabriz, and is subtitled in English, Persian, Arabic and Turkish.
One Through Love Multilingual Film
One Through Love is a visual experiment presenting the poetry and teachings of the 13th century Persian mystical poet, Jalaluddin Rumi, simultaneously via cinema, television, and the Internet. Alive with imagery, music, poetry, and insightful commentaries, a 59-minute film consists of short segments with "Lovers" from around the world about the relationship between Shams of Tabriz and Rumi. The interviews are in English, Farsi, Turkish, and Arabic and are subtitled with all languages. See clips from the film below. All the film's segments can now be seen at OneThroughLove.org.
