Description: Awakening's most essential element is the realization that there is no one there. Thoughts and opinions may occur but there's no one who owns them. As opposed to mental chatter, there's a fullness, a stillness and no belief that "I am thinking."
Thoughts are just a response to circumstances and not directed by anyone. Emotions are a kind of energy. Self-referential emotions like loneliness and guilt don't arise anymore. Without an "I" no stories about "I" arise. Awakening is a total acceptance of our true ignorance. -- from Therese E.
