Description: Translation and commentary on The Kyojukaimon (The Sixteen Bodhisattva Precepts) which was written in the 13th century by Zen Master Keizan, one of the ancestors of Soto Zen in Japan, and used during the Jukai (taking of the precepts ceremony). Roshi Kennett wrote the commentary during an intensive meditation retreat.
