Description: To be awake is to realize that there are no others. There are two major mystical subpaths to this realization: the jnana path of knowledge and the bhakti path of devotion. We need both subpaths. The bhakti path requires adopting a temporary view of ultimate reality and postulates a God, thus giving a focus for practice. As we advance we see that God is both transcendent and part of everything. -- from Therese E.
