Description: We can't find abiding happiness in the world of time, the world of forms. To escape this world, cultivate detachment.

We peg time, a believed-in concept, to visible transformations, to patterns, to the rhythms which surround us. What we call "past" exists in the present as memory. Depending on several factors including present attitudes, we continually reconstruct our pasts and become very attached to these reconstructions, imaginary as they are.

Let go of the past;
Let go of the future;
Let go of the present;
Proceed with an empty mind to the opposite shore.
