Vintage Quilt Blocks: State By State

Enjoy stately patterns with a beauty and heritage as rich as the places they represent. Over 50 patterns designated for each state in America can be used to create a family travelogue, document your family tree, or make a commemorative quilt. Traditional quilt designs were chosen for each state and are shown in 6 inch blocks. The block enlargement chart enables you to increase the block size up to 24 inches. Customized color schemes highlight various parts of the block designs to help you create your own color palette for a harmonious quilt. Secondary designs for some of the block patterns are revealed in a block-settings section, which shows how turning blocks different ways or reversing the colors can give a new look.
