Much better than David McCullough's later biography of Adams. But, also, compliment's McCullough's nicely since this book covers Adam's life upto the Revolution and McCullough's book focuses on Adam's life after the Revolution.

A satisfying biography of the Massachusetts politician and president of the USA. It creates a pleasing amount of background and material on the other founding fathers of the USA. Well worth the time, though a really good map of the Boston Area would have been very helpful.
