A perfect wrap-up for this series. The loose ends are even comfortable. The story arc was satisfying, the characters believable and real, the environs welcoming and sweet. I've really enjoyed my sojourn at Fairacre, but I'm also glad to be finished.

In this installment of the Fairacre series, Miss Read retires from teaching. She then must cope with two suitors, demands to assist with committees, and substitute teaching. This is a nice book, a good story, no violence, profanity, or sexual encounters. The village folks do have their issues and
