Addy saves a man's life, and the man offers her father a job and her family a new, fancy home. Addy and her family are very excited about their new home, but Addy soon discovers a mystery- and is accused of stealing! She finds out about two mysteries at once- a former spy is hiding out in secret

Finally she discovers her secret- she is not caucation, but rather a former slave with very pale skin. Addy's solution of the mystery has saved her family's home, her father's job, and her good name.
