I studied in Berkeley during the time related by this history of used bookstores and record stores. As usual, Cometbus' writing knocks my socks off. A fabulous book featuring some fascinating people, books and a bit of the biography of Berkeley.

Oddly, the author never explains the title. But the snippets of history of the Berkeley book trade is delightful.
