An engaging book encouraging a person to go above and beyond a mistake that's been made. "When you Think you have made a mistake ( and what kid or grownup hasn't?), think of it as an opportunity to make something beautiful!"

great for teaching "happy accidents" in art

i loved this book! It put a smile on my face by page 2. There's a torn on page 1 - half page down, from the right edge to the center. I thought, "did someone tear the page accidentally when they read this book?", but when I turned the page, that tear became the big, cheerful smile of an adorable

crocodile, and that smile climbed up my face. Each page in the book features a "mistake" - a crease, a crumble, a cut or a stain, but each turns into a heart-warming delight. Little "mistakes" in life can transform into something colorful and beautiful, through exploration, discovery and courage. This book is a wonderful read for children, yet inspiring for all.

This book would be great for the younger ages. It gives children a chance to see that some mistakes can be turned to good if you just give it a chance.

This pop-up book presents the major life lesson that it’s okay to make a mistake. Each page has a tear, hole, bend, smudge, or drip, and then is creatively engineered into a work of art. A tear in the book is turned into the mouth of an alligator!

I have a child who is currently being tested for autism; he adores books and objects with different textures and the ability to interact with the books. This book is a HIT and we both love it; it is very clever. The only reason it is not five stars is because I wish there were fewer lift-the-flap

pages and more texture pages.

I love this book, because it beautifully depicts how to see the silver lining of our mistakes.

This book could be used to teach lessons about being resourceful, creative and intuitive.

Beautiful Oops is a great story that teaches children that even mistakes can have a good outcome. Even the worst of mistakes can be an opportunity for something new. The story is very interactive. It encourages creativity. I would recommend this book.
