An early begining reader's book, Easter Egg Hunt is age apporpraite for pre-k to kindergarten.This story is made appealing through the vibrant illustrations and big font. The easter eggs especially stand out due to their sparkling foil effect. As each sentence begins with a preposition for

location,the teacher could establish student understanding of the preposition meaning. This would be done by explaining the meaning of the preposition through the illustration, then demonstrating the preposition in class with physical objects.Have the students demonstrate the prepositions. The book offers a math and art lesson. Another activity would be a handout asking for various egg counts and egg color. They can also go on their own egg hunt.
