This super cute book follows a small boy who travels across the world (to each continent), as he visits 13 of his friends living in different countries. This is an informational book because as he visits each friend, he informs the reader of the different foods, traditions, customs, and languages

spoken in that region. In reading this book, students are looking at the pretty illustrations and learning about different cultures in different countries, without even realizing that they are learning. It is always important (and fun) for us to become aware of other cultures and backgrounds that our peers come from. This book is a great way of introducing these different cultures to students. It may be more appropriate for younger students (K-2) but can still be used just for informational/research purposes for older children. It's super cute!
