I really enjoyed reading about all the things I can pray about and seeing some examples of the kinds of things I can say. A definite help in praying more meaningful and wide reaching prayers.

I found this book inspirational and practical. It contains 30 short chapters, each of which starts with a short story from the authors life and then ends with a prayer and scripture passages on the particular subject. In the prayer part of the Chapter the author weaves together various Scripture

passages, which I found quite unique.

For example the prayer in the chapter titled "Lord, Deliver Me From Every Evil Work" begins:

"Lord, thank You that You have promised to "deliver me from every evil work and preserve me" for Your heavenly kingdom (2 Tim 4:18). I know that "we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Eph 6:12). Thank You that You have put all these enemies under Your feet (Eph 1:22), and "there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known" (Matt 10:26)...."
