I could see this book being used in a Christian school setting, of course. I could also see it being used when studying a unit of comparative religions to both explore similarities and differences.

This book retells 17 parables (some short, some longer) from the New Testament with illustrations by Tomie De Paola. My one criticism of this book is that it doesn't include explanations of all of the parables, but I think may actually be in keeping with the original text. Overall, I'm a big fan of
