Powers does a masterful job in making you feel like you are right there on the ship as it went down. He describes in detail the efforts over the years to recover the bounty lying just below the surface in an area of the ocean known for its horrific storms. He has done exhaustive research into the ship and its passengers and cargo. His business and law experience brings life to the intricate legal maneuvers by the local, state and Federal governments to lay claim to the treasure.
