A beautiful piece of art! The book speaks to both the mind and the eye. It words speak to you as the images express the texture. An attractive combination of color and printed word, worthy of reading and looking at!

This book is beautiful and interactive. Young's illustrations contain collages of symbols, shapes and colors to recreate and appreciate China's landscape. His poem is accompanied by ancient Chinese symbols and reads beautifully. The pages flip upwards and overlapping in a design that allows words

This is simply a poem about China but is filled with wonderful illustrations created from collage.

From the moment you open this book you will be pleasently surprised, you'll notice that this book is read from top to bottom. And from that first page you get to read the full poem from start to finish first before even lifting a page. I also liked the idea of the book being written on rice paper
