Sweaterlodge

Since 1991, Pechet and Robb Studio has produced cutting-edge projects that include private residences, cemeteries, memorials, public art, commercial interiors, exhibitions, set designs, and furniture. Their entry at the 2006 Venice Biennale was the breathtaking “Sweaterlodge.” This vast polar fleece “sweater,” made from recycled plastic drink containers, paid tribute to Vancouver’s bracing blend of urban culture and natural beauty with a series of bikes that, when pedaled, triggered projected cinema vignettes of the city. This colorful book showcases Sweaterlodge and other important works by this award-winning company.
