plants resembled their namesake, a veritable English Amazon on the loose in Amazonia. Margaret Mee spent the later years of her life exploring uncharted areas of the Amazon and painting orchids and bromelaids.
Beautiful paintings and photos of a couragous woman doing what she loved in early 20th. century.
