Ernie Pyle is famous for his interviews with soldiers overseas during WWII, but this is a book about America. He and his wife traveled America, sending in interviews and this is a collection of those. Humerus, interesting and informative about America before WWII and lifestyles of common folks.

Ernie Pyle wrote people as well as has it could be done. This book is a really nice series of snapshots of America in the 1930's.
