Another half-read book to possibly be continued at a later date. My fault I feel rather than the author's.
The book is brilliantly researched and written and flows well. The text is augmented and enhanced by relevant quotations and first-rate illustrations (a pleasure in themselves).

three chapters - Stratford (1564-69), Childhood (1569-79) and The 'Lost' Years (1579-87). But from then on the book did not hold my attention sufficiently to want to carry on reading. Show Less
