She is best known for her appearance in the critically acclaimed 1975 film Grey Gardens - a documentary exploring the reclusive lives of Beale and her mother, who were related to Jaqueline Onassis. This is an amazing new book on Edith Bouvier Beale of Grey Gardens. She and her Mother Big Edie were made famous in the late 70's by the documentary "Grey Gardens", which lately became a Broadway hit. This is a look before the documentary----detailing the style, charm, and wit of Jackie O's aunt
