Couldn't quite get on with this book. The introduction was too "art historian" for my level of knowledge and many of the works were performance pieces represented by still photos with descriptions which made many of them sound juvenile and pretentious. Images of some of the static pieces did have

more meaning to me, but again the descriptions seemed to refer to a closed-in art world aesthetic. Maybe that's what being an artist is all about, and I will never get it. Show Less
