Yellow has elements of Skyscrapers of Oz or Get Backers in that the main characters are discreet "snatchers". They take on jobs to recover people or things (mostly drugs) from tricky situations and aid 'the good guys'.

There's humor without silliness and emotion withou melodrama. It's a pretty

serious action and mystery story, but there is a lot of teasing between Goh and Taki. I enjoy their banter and the way they work together as a team. The artwork is gorgeous.

Yellow is an excellent yaoi series. The art is very good and the story action packed. Goh and Taki work for the police, stealing drugs from the bad guys. Part private investigators, part mercenaries, Goh and Taki are young and hot. Goh is gay, and hot for his new partner Taki. But, Taki is

straight. Isn't he? Goh has fun with other conquests, while continuing his pursuit of Taki and solving their cases. There is sex, but it's never graphic. Hard yaoi fans may be slightly disappointed, but as a yaoi title this is more developed than many.

Attractive artwork and an intriguing plot are no compensation for a distasteful subtext that gay men are predatory and paedophilic.

Charming, fluffy, pointless pretty fun.
