I tried to read this one but from the onset with the forward by Dr. Poussaint to Mr. Cosby's account of his first grey pubic hair, I just didn't find the indignities and not quite funny observations of life at age 50 to be very enticing to me.

After attempting the forward I thought maybe the actual

book might be a little better. When the first little bit didn't grab my attention I generally skimmed a few chapters, looking for something that would make me laugh. I chuckled a couple times but it certainly wasn't at all what I thought I'd find. I actually felt a bit depressed after reading some of the passages and finally gave it up. Probably not the best Cosby to start off with.

Made me laugh, as you age this book makes more and more sense. Now that he is almost 30 years older than when he wrote it I would love to see his new views on aging!!
