McNabb's unique characters and narrative voice make this first book in the Kylie Kendall Mysteries very entertaining.
There is a minor romantic subplot, but it is stretched out throughout the series, so dont look for that in the first few books.

Enjoyed the character of Kylie. The mystery was pretty light, but overall it was an enjoyable read.
