I enjoy children's historical literature; as an adult you can learn about history without committing to a 600 pg tome but still learn the essential facts and get a flavor of the historical event.

is followed showing their changes from personal items to traces of heritage being destroyed and replaced with Mao souvenires in fear of being attacked and unaccepted. Old photographs of the wife and husband with silk costumes and embroidery had been burned because it represented their true culture and heritage.
