Little Bear is getting ready to hibernate for the winter. Before he gets ready for his long sleep, Little Bear wants to say goodnight to all of his forest friends.

A good bedtime story and introduction to forest animals and hibernation for younger kids. Nice, bright pictures filled the pages. Little Bear says goodnight to a badgers, mice, deer, fox, rabbit, squirrel, owl and wolf. Some of these animals might also hibernate, and they tell Little Bear, others might look out for him while he sleeps. It's a cute story, but even some of the children knew that a bear would usually eat some of these animals.

I received a copy of Sleep Tight Little Bear by Britta Teckentrup in exchange for an honest review.

This is a cute book about bears going to sleep for the winter with an explanation at the end of the book of “hibernation”. The illustrations are very warm and depicts the mommy and baby bear saying goodbye to their forest friends until the Spring.
