her grandmother got an idea to get her to stop and it was a clever one. Grandma joined the fun and started to suck on her own thumb. Grandma enjoyed it, but Mia thought otherwise. She was embarrassed. She tells her grandmother to stop. She's way to old to be sucking her thumb. And then that's when realizes she's also too old to do that. A lesson learned from her witty grandmother. I find this book is pretty enjoyable and fun to read. This book can teach kids to break away from certain habits that needed to stop when they''re older. Sucking on thumb is one great example that kids tend to do.
