a death in the mountains, and another much older death. Was the death in the mountains murder? If so, which of the two narrators committed the deed? What is the nature of the two main characters relationship? Is anything at the center of this onion -- is anything resolved? I enjoyed Onda's 'Aosawa Murders,' and I was intrigued by the first 24 chapters (190 pages), but the ending was abrupt and enigmatic. Is anything resolved?
