Dolley Madison served as America's first lady thru the War of 1812. A fascinating character, she was both strong and weak, standing up to leading politicians of the day, yet indulging her son to the point of bankruptcy.
With her usual talent, Wilson captures the reader and brings them into the life

and world of the person. Queen Dolley was an exceptional character in our nation's history and this is an excellent biography of her life. I highly recommend.
