They all lived exceptional, if not extraordinary, lives, in different ways.

This book was long and a little hard to finish, but I am glad I read it. It is hard to comprehend just how hard it was to live back in those days (how many weeks it took to travel from Boston to Washington DC) and just how important the wives of the important patriots were.
