We all love Tinker Bell and the other fairies. This graphic novel was a big hit with the girls and I've had to read it to the youngest I know about 20 times. The stories are really great for young girls and the illustrations are just as magical as Pixie Hollow.

this is a sweet little book that brings back so many memories of watching Disney fairy movies when I was a little girl. When I was growing up there were so many comic type books that appealed to boys, but nothing much was available for little girls. This has all changed with the great new Disney

Graphic Novels (some might describe this awesome little book as a super quality pocket size comic book). I highly recommend this magical book to girls of all ages. And I bet there are lots of little boys who would enjoy it too!

This is a good way to get young children interested in reading.

I received a free review copy of Disney Fairies: Prilla's Talent through the LibraryThing Member Giveaway program.

I am interested in seeing more females reading in the comic and graphic novel genres, so I was excited when I saw Disney was using Tinker Bell as a launching character for a new graphic

novel series. The book is broken into four short stories revolving around Tinker Bell and her friends. Each story includes a basic moral about friendship, hard work and ingenuity without too much dramatic tension or conflict and no violence to make it appropriate for the youngest readers. The artwork is phenomenal, bright and colorful while still incorporating great detail. It's in the typical Disney style, but the background art leaves little to be desired for any comic fan. The format is easy to follow. As a bonus, the book includes a preview of another series, Classics Illustrated Deluxe, which also looks promising for young readers of both genders.

This was a fairly cute graphic novel geared towards pre-teens. I suppose that it would serve as a good introduction to graphic novels for that age-group or would be a fun read for fans of Disney princesses and fairies. The storylines are fairly cute while pretty simplistic, but the individual

stories seem to jump around quite a bit with no real transitions or character building. I did think that the art work was all rather well done.

All in all, not a bad book for preteens but I would have liked to have seen a better effort made at character development and having a more cohesive storyline.

I've always loved Tinkerbell. She is the reason I like fairies...but generally, I get bored with fairy books. I had originally picked it up for my kids but I ended up reading them...My sons aren't really into Tinkerbell, so, why I picked it up, I don't know...Maybe because I like Tink I

guess...lol...I will make them sit through Tinkerbell movies with me just to say I had a reason to be sitting there watching Tinkerbell...A grown woman! Don't Judge me! lol

But, anyway, it was a cute book...A few stories in one little book...If you have kids who love Tinkerbell, and maybe even comics, or even just you, this is a perfect little book..Colorful, cute stories...

It took me a couple days to read only because I was also reading other things and would just pick it up if my son had my Kindle and/or I just didn't want to read anything else at the moment...

Will I read another one? I'm not sure...Maybe if I am looking for an easy read, or I'm in between books and maybe waiting on a book I ordered or placed a hold for at the library...:o)
