Very surprised to find more positive endings in this book than usual. Rather got the impression the author wanted to write a book where choices made in time changed lives for the better rather than for the worse. Overall, I liked it.

This book contained a variety of cases going as far back as 1960. I found the Mary Winkler case to be the most interesting. It shows the line that is walked between victim and villian.

This book as is the case of many Ann Rule books is a compilation of short stories. This one has a theme based on couples, not all of them leave you with a clear cut right and wrong. The stories are well written and worthy of Ms. Rule. I would recommend this book to anyone who has enjoyed reading
