Sabers of Mauldar

More fantastic than "fantasy, this sequel to Singleton's first work, Heartstone and Saber, picks up many years after the conclusion to that title. Equal parts romance, action/adventure, and historical fantasy, Sabers of Mauldar is a worthy successor to Heartstone, and will be enjoyed by regular readers of fantasy and those not accustomed to the genre alike.
