Description

With a contract to perform a drag show way out in the Australian desert, Tick, Adam, and Ralph each has his own reason for wanting to leave the safety of Sydney. Christening their battered pink tour bus "Priscilla," the trio heads for the outback and into crazy adventures in even crazier outfits.

Media reviews

Taking its name from the tour bus on which this trio travels, "The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert" presents a defiant culture clash in generous, warmly entertaining ways. For all its glitter, this is the sort of film in which everyone becomes happier and nicer by the final reel.

Three drag queens cross the outback in a bus.

It just doesn't work on any level - unless you find something inherently entertaining about men in dresses, as the writer/director seems to think you should.
