spiral haircut. The text is medium sized in black ink and there is a great deal of it. This is certainly not a book for beginning readers to read to themselves because of the amount of text present but it would make a great storytime book for a small group of kids. Children who like complex stories, want a challenging read, and are exploring gender identity will love this book. Highly Recommended. Show Less
