Following her close call with a serial killer, FBI analyst Emmy Dockery is once again on the hunt for serial killers. Hiding behind seemingly “normal” accidents or “natural” causes of death, this killer is smart, wily, and ruthless. And no one . . . except for Emmy . . . believes these

deaths came at the hands of a serial killer. Can she find the answers before more people die? And what will her relentless search for this murderer mean to her relationship with Books?

In this, the second book in the Emmy Dockery series, strong characterizations and a tantalizing scenario work together to continually ramp up the suspense. Emmy’s cat-and-mouse game with the killer will draw readers into the telling of the tale from the first page of this difficult-to-set-aside book. Several new characters add depth to the narrative and fit perfectly with the established characters. Unexpected plot twists keep the reader off-balance as they move the story in new directions and, as the unfolding story continues to challenge and entice readers, the surprising reveals will keep them on the edge of their seats until they’ve turned the final page.

Highly recommended.

Unsolved continues from Invisible with Emmy Dockery still working to overcome her demons and accept affection from Books, whilst she's resolved the Graham case she is still on the hunt for serial killers and believes she has located another. As she begins trying to get local police to investigate,

the only one who looks into the matter is murdered himself. Amongst this another case she is working on officially is being leaked to the media and she is suspected of being the leak, leading the director of the FBI to enlist her fiance independent Books to investigate.

The story starts off quicker than Invisible did and is riveting throughout, a really hard one to take a break from. I really enjoyed the way the killer used other people for camouflage, similar to how they did in Invisible, but taking things one step further.

From start to finish it is an enthralling story that builds on the ground work Invisible laid, yet improving on each aspect for the better, an excellent serial killer & police procedural novel.

An excellent read. The story continued Emma Dockerys hunt for serial killers whilst carrying out her job as a FBI analyst looking for an ethical bomber. Also her relationship with Books suffers great problems and causes a temporary split. The ending was very surprising and quite conclusive.

A very disappointing and slow book. Add to that it's a boring read. Don't waste your time with this book. I gave up on it in less than 1/4 of the way through.

Now I love this James Patterson. This book (series) reminds me of his earlier work and why he is so well read today.
I really do like the characters in this and I like that they are believable and realistic. When the main female character, Emmy, puts her mind to finding something or someone,
Show More
nothing will stop her. It seems only she able to do it. There are a few shocking revaluations in the second book of this series and I expect if it continues we will see a lot of that occurring. I feel like that’s part of what makes this series work so well it’s always nice to expect the unexpected from an author who has written as much as James Patterson.

Emmy Dockery is on the trail of a killer no one but her believes exists. His kills look like accidents and happen all over the East. Will her obsession cost her the man she loves?

I was a bit surprised by this novel. It follows Emmy, a FBI analyst, who is obsessed with tracking a killer. The trouble is that no one believes that the deaths of the people are suspicious. Emmy lets the obsession take over her life to the point where she is lying to her fiance and causing

disruptions in her career.
The killer uses a wheelchair to stake out his victims. He is very careful, mapping out routes without cameras. He flies under the radar for a long time. In addition to this murderer, someone is carrying out acts of violence on property to protest injustices.
You will be led to believe certain things in this book, and it will push you to think you know the answers, but you will be incorrect. The ending has a big surprise reveal that you likely would not see coming.
I liked the book a lot, but the ending wasn't the best.

Excellent book by Patterson, second in the "Invisible" series with main character, Emmy Dockery. Plot line is great, a very fast read. Because I read so much enjoyed this book, I started reading "Invisible", the first book in the series. I highly recommend the book.
