photographs are superb. In this book, the focus is farm animals, so we have pictures of pigs and horses and chicks. The textures are similar to others in the series, with fluffy fur and velvet and soft foam, but the adjectives are new, and appropriate to each animal. Touch and feel books are nice to have because young readers love them, and if you're searching for this type of book, DK is a great choice. Not literature, or innovative, but made with quality.
