Description

From the author of PINK SLIP comes an achingly funny, lovingly written tale of two sisters, one family, and the memories of childhood that haunt us forever-at last in trade paperback. Ciresi's sales demand attention, and trade paperback seems the format her audience is choosing. Note publisher support not only through marketing commitment but in recent purchase of older title and contracting for new novels.

These stories are at times hilarious; other times, you'll cringe in embarrassment, as the children in these stories often do, at the parents' actions.

The story of wo sisters, Angel and Lina, and their Catholic upbringing as they come of age in New York and later as young women. Funny, nostalgic and surprisingly a lot like southern fiction!

What a depressing book! The writing is OK but there is so much negativity in the point of view of the main character...and every other character. You want to yell, Stop It! at her.
