Carlos Huante was born in East L.A. in 1965. Besides chilaquiles and YerbaBuena (mint tea), Carlos grew up on stop-motion monster movies. Since that timehe has pursued his passion for the arts by creating some of the most originalmonsters and characters, for both film and animation, ever seen! Monstruois a collection of Huante's personal, original work featuring a wide range ofmonster and character designs, from simple pencil sketches that magicallycapture the gesture of his subject, to full-color digital and traditional mediapaintings.
