Description
Several histories and hand- books of Christian spirituality have been published within the past few years and most provide excellent overviews and resources for further study. Christian Spirituality differs from the others in at least one major respect. In order to provide a useful textbook for adults, the author has attempted to situate in a single volume the development of Christian spirituality in the life and his- tory of the Church as a whole as well as in view of major events in the wider world.
