Description
Exposition of the Sermon on the Mount, Volume 1, originally published in Pink's monthly Studies in the Scriptures. As in all his writings, Pink clearly and accurately describes the truth of Jesus' teaching to the multitudes so many years ago, and how His teaching is still very relevant to us today. Volume 1 covers the entire fifth chapter of Matthew: the Beatitudes, the Ministerial Office, and Christ's explaining the original intent of the Law (correcting the many misunderstandings and perversions of the Scribes and Pharisees). Then the thorough examination of the Law and what it says about: Murder, Adultery, Oaths, Retaliation, and Love.
