Description

"Eight women from eight very different backgrounds, yet the struggles they each faced rang with eerie similarity. From Pakistan, India, Romania, the former Soviet Union, China, Vietnam, Nepal, and Indonesia, these women shared similar experiences of hardship and persecution--all for their faith in Christ--yet they have emerged from adversity as leaders and heroines."--Publisher's website.

Spent eight days reading 1 story each. It's all my heart could handle. We take for granted what was given to us freely in our constitution for our freedom of religion. One story bibles are so rare and illegal they're are copied by hand. Heart wrenching to read but absolutely worth it. Especially in

Very interesting and heart touching stories of women who have lived their lives for Christ. They show true grace and love in their service to the Lord. They are the best in all of us and are willing to pay the price for their faith. Very inspiring for the rest of us.

This book is heartbreaking and heartwarming all rolled in to one. It brings to light what can be taken for granted very easily.
