The Bible: Jeremiah

1 DVD, 94 minutes run time. The prophet Jeremiah abandons his family and also the woman he loves, in order to announce God's message in Jerusalem. His warnings about the Holy City being destroyed by the Babylonians results in his being branded a traitor and persecuted - but in the face of all opposition, he continues with his mission. Eventually the Babylonians do indeed invade the country and destroy Jerusalem, making Jeremiah's prophecy come true (from DVD case)
