We are taught to have faith in God, and that is right, but most people do not know that God has faith and confidence in them - much more than they do in themselves. God has beautiful plans for our lives and a lot of optimism that we will fulfill these plans. This is because He sees us very differently from the way we see ourselves.
This teaching is an encouragement to the discouraged and disheartened who have failed, and think God will never trust them again. He'll surprise you with His grace and use you in His service with great fruitfulness. Keep your eyes on Jesus the author and finisher of your faith.
