Explain what a noun is before you read the book. Then ask the students if the nouns look different in the book. Ask them to write about their favorit noun and then at the top write what they think a noun is.

This is a good book. It rhymes and is full of nouns which are highlighted in different colors so students can tell the nouns apart from the other words in the book. It's a funny book and there is no story line but it does show children what a noun is.

Does its job quite well. I enjoyed it a lot and the mention of proper nouns was a nice addition to the text. Good book.
