Although officially a textbook for students of education and library science, this is also just a fine anthology that would be an excellent addition to any home with children.

This book had many poems in it. It had the poems arranged by diferent tags which made it easy to identify. There were many poems about the different types of play that the children do. There were some poems that used the letters of the alphabet to complete a poem. The arrangement of the book was

helpful to locate items quickly. Even though the book is an older book it had a lot of neat poems to use throughout many lessons. I think you could use this book for lessons on friendships, about animals, and to help with learning the alphabet
