Description
King T'Challa returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation of Wakanda to serve as new leader. However, T'Challa soon finds that he is challenged for the throne from divisions within his own country. When two enemies conspire to destroy Wakanda, the hero known as Black Panther must join forces with C.I.A. agent Everett K. Ross and members of the Wakandan Special Forces, to prevent Wakanda from being drawn into a world war.

A king/superhero protects his country from an outcast relative.
Good. The plot is identical to Thor: Ragnarok. I mean, I don't go into a superhero movie expecting an original plot, but that's a weird one to repeat, and in consecutive movies.

Thoroughly enjoyed this tale of betrayal and redemption set mostly in Wakanda, an afro-futuristic world where a meteorite landed in Africa centuries ago with a lot of Vibranium in it, the people of this country have hidden their technological skills from the world, preferring to present a backward
It was a lot of fun, a park your brain, keep an eye out for the Stan Lee cameo, enjoy the visuals feast for the eyes.

I saw this in the cinema originally and really enjoyed it. I enjoyed my rewatch on DVD too. A decent plot - the fights are not too long and lots of female characters. It's just a lot of fun.
